Brief Introduction :
SAP MM module is one of the most important modules in the SAP ERP software and also MM application module supports the procurement and inventory functions occurring in day to day process.
This MM module contains many aspects like purchasing of goods , goods receiving, material storage, consumption based planning and the inventory.
SAP MM Module is integrated with other SAP modules like PP(Production Planning), QM (Quality Management ) , PM (Plant Maintenance ), Warehouse Management, FI (Finance), Controlling (CO), Sales and Distribution (SD).

3) Assign company code to company : OX16

7) Maintain Purchasing organization: OX08
8) Maintain Purchasing Group : The purchasing group is a unit of the Purchase organisation which is responsible for day to day certain buying activities and control a particular type of procurement activity based on some classification. transaction code to maintain purchasing group in OME4.
9) Assign purchasing organisation to company code: Transaction OX01.
10) Assign purchasing organisation to pant : OX17.
11) Reference purchase organisation : reference purchase organisation in a purchase organisation where the procurement is done for all the plant of purchase organisation. reference purchasing organisation is used in case of global contract preparation which can be referenced by any local purchasing organisation.
SAP Material Master :
1) Creation of material group : Transaction code OMSF.
2) creation of material types: OMS2,
3) Create industry sector : OSM3.
4) Define MRP Controller (Material Resource planning): MRP controllers are maintained against the plant in SAP ABAP MM.
5) create change and display material : MM01 MM02 and MM03.
6) ctreating purchasing info of records : ME11, ME12, ME13.
